Basketball Festival - December 2015
On Wednesday the 2nd December 2015, a group of 20 children from across lower key stage 2 took part in a Basketball festival put on by the Faringdon Academy of Schools. The event ran from 1:15 to 2:45, starting with a rotation of skills stations followed by a fixture of games against other schools. 5 schools from across the Academy took part with six teams of 10. The children showed great enthusiasm throughout the event and took part in all the activities. Finishing the games with a score of 18 points for team A and 20 points for team B. The cheers from the children and the proud parents filled the hall! The highlight of the day was the smiles and the effort made by everyone who took part.
