Some photos from last year's Owls, as the year goes on we will add more and more of our new Owls working hard and having fun!
Remember when we made these brilliant Viking boat pictures?
We learned about volcanoes and made our own erupting volcano models!
We made some really effective storm pictures using chalk pastels!
We made wellie boot collages; we discussed warm, cold and contrasting colours on the colour wheel.
We learned about the colour wheel and used primary colours to mix secondary and tertiary colours.
We learned about the layers of the Earth and we made some models using plasticine
The past few weeks we have enjoyed writing 'villainous speeches' in the role of nasty Emperor Nero. We then performed and filmed them using a green screen app!
We designed and made our own pizzas in DT. They were YUM!
Look at the mosaic coasters we made during our Roman Toga Day!
Wow! Year 4's Roman Homework was amazing; what a talented bunch!
Year 4 had such a great time during our 'Roman Day' - we dressed in togas; we made mosaics; we marched into battle; we had FUN!
Our Christmas card designs were brrrrrrrrrrilliant!
We learned all about Roman aqueducts; then we made our own model aqueducts and tested them with water.
Year 4 had a great time on their trip to Roman Chedworth Villa - they came back bursting with facts and new things they had learned!
Lots of great teamwork going on in Owls Class; those painting aprons can be pretty tricky to do up by yourself!
In Science, we learned all about the different types of teeth in our mouths and the jobs they do.
To help us learn all the different layers of a Roman road, we enjoyed making own versions using biscuits, custard and sweets (we enjoyed eating them too!)
