Year 1 pretended we were in Florence Nightingale’s hospital
Year 4 learned about Roman aqueducts; they then made their own and tested them to see how effective they were at transporting water.
To help Year 4 learn about all the layers in a Roman road, we made our own version using biscuits, custard and sweets - they were yummy!
In Year 4 the children learnt about life as a Roman soldier and learnt that they had to carry a lot of things as they traipsed through Britain!
In Pre-School the children learn the foundations of history by sequencing simple pictures by the order they happened, such as in this jigsaw where the three pieces show a child undressing, washing in the bath then drying himself with a towel.
