Welcome to your first term as a Duckling.
For the first few weeks we will be joining the whole school looking at the story 'Our class is a family'
We will then start our main topic of:
'Autumn and Me'
We will be finding out about ourselves and what being a Duckling is all about.
As the term continues and we become more settled we will then start learning about Autumn and Harvest time.
Term 2 will be:
'Traditional Tales'
We will be reading lots of traditional tales, such as The Gingerbread Man.
Later on in the term we shall be learning about Christmas.
Term 3 will be:
'Winter'
We will be finding out about the weather and the clothes we choose to wear in hot and cold weather. We shall be finding out about the animals living in cold places around the world. Look out for the ice in the water tray!!
Term 4: This term we will be learning through Julia Donaldson stories. Look out for lots of work on rhyming words!
Term 5: This term we will be learning about Eric Carle stories.
