Watchfield Primary School Pre-school has been rated Good by Ofsted and is proud to part of the Faringdon Learning Trust family of Schools. We call ourselves the “Ducklings” who are led by our “Mother ducks”, a team of experienced, dedicated and passionate Early Years Educators.

Our aim is for our children to have a happy and fulfilled time in our Pre-school, following the Prime Areas of the Early Years Foundation Stage so that their transition into Reception School Year is seamless. We will support your child to develop the skills required to enable them to build a solid foundation at this crucial first steppingstone in their educational journey.

Our Pre-School is well equipped both inside and outside and we pride ourselves on the quality of provision that available. Our outside provision space is newly developed to a high specification and designed to meet the children’s developmental needs. We value the close relationships we form with the whole family and welcome opportunities to chat about your child’s development, either face to face or via our School App system.

Our Ducklings benefit from regular on-site Forest Schools sessions and integration at whole school events within the Primary School Setting. These may include watching school performances, Sports Day, Arts Week, International Week and many transition events.
